Farmers living in fear of ‘Mocha’ damaging crops

Large numbers of farmers of coastal districts of Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur are worried since after the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that a cyclonic circulation had formed and lay over southeast Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood. It is likely to turn into a cyclone Monday morning and a depression the next day.

KENDRAPADA: Large numbers of farmers of coastal districts of Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur are worried since after the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that a cyclonic circulation had formed and lay over southeast Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood. Torrential rain have been lashing both the districts since Thursday.
